Eric Mangum, LMHCA
Hello, I am Eric Mangum, LMHCA, a mental health professional with a master’s degree in applied psychology from Pacific University, earned in 2022. I obtained my bachelor’s in psychology, with a minor in human development, from Washington State University, earned in 2018. I have been working in the mental health field for around five years. Throughout that time, I built my experiences working with individuals experiencing domestic violence (DV), serious mental illness (SMI) such as bipolar, schizoaffective, and schizophrenia, and substance use disorders (SUD). Often these disorders are co-occurring providing experiences working with depression, anxiety, and trauma also.
My focus has been in the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), motivational counseling, and mindfulness. My practice is filtered through the trauma informed approach with the purpose of providing an environment in which to process and understand how trauma influences our behaviors.
Therapy can be a journey. Let us work together to take the first step toward healing, health, and personal growth.
